Stewardship of Prayer and Reflection

After interceding with Jesus, Mary, traditionally invoked as “Mother of Mercy,” instructs Cana’s servants, “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5). So “Mother Church,” especially during this Jubilee Year of Mercy, instructs us to use the Spirit’s manifold gifts in generous service of the human family, whose wine—“life more abundantly”—so often seems to have run out.

HOLY YEAR OF MERCY

As the Jubilee Year of Mercy begins, what twists and turns do I need to let God untangle in my life? What rough edges smooth out? What mountainous of pride bring low? What valleys of indifference and neglect fill with mercy for others

“When Christ is your friend, you have joy, serenity and happiness.” ~Pope Francis
