Stewardship of Prayer and Reflection

    Jesus breathes his re-creating Spirit on the disciples, shows them his wounds, then sends them (and us) forth to love as he loved, to forgive and reconcile. Jesus adds, “Whose sins you retain are retained.” But like the disciples, having been forgiven so many of our own sins of denial, desertion, and cow-ardice, how could we dare not to forgive the sins of a truly repentant person?

Jesús sopla su Espíritu recreador sobre los discípulos, les muestra sus llagas y los envía (también a nosotros) a amar igual que él amó, a perdonar y a reconciliar. Pero, al igual que los discípulos, habiéndonos sido perdonados tantos pecados de negación, deserción y cobardía, ¿qué pecados nos atrevemos a no perdonar?
