Taken together, today's scriptures call us — in this generation — to do what disciples have done in every generation. Since we know that creation's ripening is near," Jesus' continuing harvest is our ongoing responsibility (Mark 13:28). Each day should be lived as if it were our first, our last, our only day. Because someday, it will be!

Conjuntamente, las Escrituras de hoy nos hacen un llamado a los discípulos de esta generación para que hagamos lo mismo que han hecho los discípulos de generaciones pasadas. Ya que sabemos que "la madurez de la creación está cerca", la constante cosecha de Jesús es nuestra responsabilidad progresiva (Marcos 13:28). Cada día debe ser vivido como si fuera nuestro primero, nuestro último y nuestro único día. ¡Porque un día así será!
